KKCompany Technologies Lists on Taiwan’s Emerging Market as AI and Data Flywheel Take Center Stage

The company, which began with KKBOX and later integrated PressPlay, now spans music services, AI, multimedia technology, knowledge learning and the creator economy across Taiwan, Japan and Hong Kong. Fubon Securities managing director Kuo Yu-yi said KKCompany has more than 30 million members, 300 million songs in its catalog, 400,000 hours of video content, 5 million active users and more than 8.8 billion cumulative views. He said the company’s AI multimedia solutions have already been deployed with a major Japanese telecom operator and a video platform. Chairman and CEO Wang Hsien-tang said the company is building a data flywheel across KKBOX, PressPlay Academy and PressPlay Next, using cross-platform content, membership data, multimodal analysis and AI to improve recommendations, monetization and user engagement. The company reported 2024 and 2025 consolidated revenue of NT$2.985 billion and NT$2.98 billion, respectively. Operating profit in 2025 rose 117% year on year to NT$35.08 million, while net income attributable to the parent climbed 156% to NT$89.61 million.

The company was founded 20 years ago and started with KKBOX, its music streaming service. After integrating PressPlay, it reshaped its business structure and now operates across music services, artificial intelligence, multimedia technology, knowledge learning and the creator economy. Its business spans Taiwan, Japan and Hong Kong.
Fubon Securities managing director Kuo Yu-yi said KKCompany Technologies has accumulated more than 30 million members, a catalog of 300 million songs, 400,000 hours of video content, 5 million active users and more than 8.8 billion cumulative views. He said those long-built content assets and first-party data form the base for the company’s AI applications and digital transformation.
Kuo said the company’s AI multimedia solutions have already entered overseas markets and have been deployed with a major Japanese telecom operator and a video platform.
Chairman and CEO Wang Hsien-tang said the company has combined resources from KKBOX, PressPlay Academy and PressPlay Next to connect music, video, knowledge learning and creator economy services. By integrating cross-platform content and membership data with multimodal analysis and AI, the company is building a data flywheel that supports content recommendations, member management, monetization and user engagement.
On performance, KKCompany said changes to its organizational structure, operational workflows and overseas business growth improved efficiency. Consolidated revenue was NT$2.985 billion in 2024 and NT$2.98 billion in 2025.
Operating profit in 2025 reached NT$35.08 million, up 117% year on year. Net income attributable to the parent was NT$89.61 million, up 156%.
