Frontier Traders, a Solana-based trading platform, held its live "Seoul Showdown" event on Sept. 30 during Korea Blockchain Week. According to a video posted by DEGEN NEWS, Korean trading creator Jadoodoo celebrated on stage after locking in roughly $40,000 in profit and loss from a long position in NEAR during the semifinal round. The Seoul stop featured eight traders competing live on stage across three elimination rounds, with the winner advancing to the London final. Frontier Traders had described the event beforehand as the largest trading competition in Korea. The broader Season One competition carries a prize pool of more than $1 million and focuses on perpetual futures trading. The London final is scheduled for November during Solana Breakpoint and will include eight seats: the three live-event winners, one trader with the best season P&L, one with the highest trading volume, one wildcard entry, and two additional spots from tracks that have not yet been announced. The overall winner can choose between a Porsche 911 GT3 RS and $250,000 in stablecoins. Although Jadoodoo did not win the Seoul event, Frontier Traders later said she "definitely won the crowd."

According to a video published by DEGEN NEWS, Korean trading creator Jadoodoo celebrated on stage after locking in about $40,000 in profit and loss from a NEAR long during the semifinal.

Eight traders competed live for a place in London

According to the event page, the Seoul stop featured eight traders executing live on stage. The field was narrowed through three elimination rounds until one trader remained, and the full competition was streamed on X. Before the event, the organizer called it "the biggest trading competition in Korea," with the winner set to represent Korea in London and compete for a Porsche GT3 RS.

Frontier Traders' Season One page says the season carries more than $1 million in total prizes, with participants ranked through perpetual futures trading. There are three live stops in the series. The first was held in Belgrade, Serbia, where trader solana_sailor won. Seoul was the second stop. The third is scheduled for Oct. 6 during Solana Summit in Singapore.

London final set for November during Breakpoint

The London final will take place in November during Solana's annual Breakpoint conference. There will be eight final slots in total: the winners of the three live events, one seat for the trader with the best season-long P&L, one for the trader with the highest trading volume, one wildcard, and two more seats from tracks that have not yet been announced.

The overall champion will be able to choose between a Porsche 911 GT3 RS and $250,000 in stablecoins.

Jadoodoo did not win Seoul, but drew the crowd

In its pre-event introduction, Frontier Traders said Jadoodoo is one of Korea's biggest trading creators, with 231,000 YouTube subscribers watching her trade every day.

Jadoodoo did not go on to win the Seoul stop. In a post after the event, Frontier Traders wrote: "Jadoodoo may not have won the Seoul Showdown but she definitely won the crowd," and shared a highlight clip from her appearance.

Partners included Solana Foundation and Phantom

The event page listed partners including Solana Foundation, JTX, the trading platform under Jito, low-latency network protocol DoubleZero, on-chain perpetuals exchange Phoenix, prediction market platform World, aggregator Titan, and wallet provider Phantom.

Phoenix is developed by Ellipsis Labs, and each order placement, trade, and liquidation is settled directly on Solana. Frontier Traders describes itself with the line: "Trade anywhere on Solana, earn rewards."
