Techub reported that on-chain analyst Specter has linked a wave of recent theft reports from Ledger users on X and Reddit to a broader flow of funds moving out of hundreds of victim wallets. According to Specter, the identified addresses have received assets across multiple networks, including Ethereum, TRON and Bitcoin, with total losses topping $86 million.
Some Reddit users said their funds were moved even though they claimed they had not exposed their seed phrases and had limited interaction with on-chain applications. At this stage, however, there is no confirmed common attack path tying the incidents together. There is also no evidence that Ledger hardware wallets or the company’s underlying infrastructure were compromised.
Ledger had not confirmed the suspected large-scale theft incident at the time of publication. The report was cited by Techub and attributed to Wu Blockchain.
