According to Odaily Planet Daily, Lido DAO has passed a Snapshot governance vote to officially revoke the official certification status of wstETH bridge endpoints on nine networks: zkSync Era, Mode, Scroll, Mantle, Swell, Zircuit, Soneium, Polygon PoS, and Lisk.

Lido emphasized that this is purely a governance decision and will not disable any bridges, invalidate wstETH tokens, or affect users' ability to bridge wstETH back to Ethereum mainnet. The funds of users holding wstETH on these networks are completely safe, and no action is required. However, going forward, Lido will cease active monitoring, marketing support, and ecosystem development for wstETH on the affected networks. Information regarding these networks will be updated on Lido's multichain page, documentation, and help center to reflect the new status.

The affected networks include some active Ethereum Layer 2 ecosystems such as zkSync Era, Scroll, Mantle, as well as emerging networks like Zircuit and Soneium. This governance action by Lido aims to adjust its multichain support strategy and concentrate network resources.
