LONG co-founder Nate said in a post on X that the team’s long-term direction has not changed despite personal matters, the macro backdrop, or declines in mainstream assets. He said the goal remains to build LONG into a platform that can operate across market cycles. According to Nate, Robinhood Chain is here for the long run and development on it will continue. He also said the team will stay focused on RWA trading pairs and will not branch into short-term side narratives, describing the project as one without “multiple narratives.” Nate added that the project is mission-driven and “cannot be easily killed,” while arguing that the industry remains stuck in zero-sum thinking. In his view, launchpad-style products peaked in 2024 and have struggled to expand since then because they compete too heavily for traffic and volatility instead of bringing in new use cases and new users. On product updates, he said the team has fixed issues related to the wallet and token list and has added a LONG PVE filter. An app upgrade is expected to go live soon, with more details due later this week.

LONG co-founder Nate said in a post on X that neither personal matters, the macro environment, nor declines in mainstream assets would change his determination to turn LONG into a platform built to last across cycles.

He said Robinhood Chain will be around for the long term and that the team will keep pushing it forward. He also said the team will focus on RWA trading pairs and avoid short-term side branches, adding that there are “no multiple narratives.”

Nate described the project as mission-driven and said it “cannot be easily killed,” adding that it is still only at the beginning. He also argued that the industry remains trapped in zero-sum thinking. In his view, launchpad-type products peaked in 2024 and have found it difficult to expand since then, mainly because they overcompete for traffic and volatility rather than bringing in new use cases and new users.

On the product side, he said the team has fixed issues involving the wallet and token list and added a LONG PVE filter. The app upgrade will go live soon, with more to be announced later this week.
