LTP, an institutional digital-asset prime broker, said its “Liquidity Arena 2026” competition will officially begin on July 20, framing the event as a live quantitative trading contest built for AI agents and autonomous trading systems. The company said more than 200 teams have already registered, with the broader event ecosystem spanning over 20 partner institutions and universities, more than 30 media partners, and multiple quant platforms and communities. LTP described it as one of the largest AI-native trading competitions held so far. The event will run on LTP’s institutional trading infrastructure. According to the company, that stack processes more than $1.2 trillion in annual trading volume and connects to more than 20 major exchanges globally, giving participants access to live liquidity and low-latency execution rather than an isolated simulation environment. LTP said it provides compliant execution, custody and clearing services across both CEXs and DEXs for proprietary trading firms, high-frequency teams, hedge funds, family offices and OTC desks, and holds regulatory qualifications in Hong Kong, Australia, the UAE and the British Virgin Islands. Liquidity Arena 2026 includes two tracks: Logic Frontier for AI developers, university teams and AI agent builders, and Liquidity Pro for hedge funds, prop desks and HFT teams managing larger pools of capital. LTP said the total reward pool exceeds $300,000, including more than $100,000 in cash prizes.

LTP sets July 20 start date for Liquidity Arena 2026

LTP said today that “Liquidity Arena 2026” will open on July 20 as a live quantitative trading competition designed for AI agents and autonomous trading systems.

The company said more than 200 teams have registered so far. It also listed an ecosystem of more than 20 partner institutions and universities, over 30 media partners, and several quant platforms and communities, calling the event one of the largest AI-native trading competitions to date.

“The bottleneck for AI agents in trading has never been the model itself, but the infrastructure. Multi-asset execution, real liquidity, institutional-grade clearing — that is what autonomous trading systems actually need, and that is exactly why LTP exists. Liquidity Arena is a live validation of this infrastructure,” LTP founder and CEO Jack Yang said.

Competition will run on LTP’s institutional stack

LTP said the event is built on its institutional-grade infrastructure, which it said handles more than $1.2 trillion in annual trading volume and connects to more than 20 major exchanges worldwide. That setup is meant to provide participants with real liquidity and low-latency execution instead of a closed simulation environment.

The company said it offers compliant execution, custody and clearing services across both CEXs and DEXs for proprietary trading teams, high-frequency firms, hedge funds, family offices and OTC trading desks. It also said it holds regulatory qualifications in Hong Kong, Australia, the UAE and the British Virgin Islands.

Two tracks target different groups of traders and builders

Track A: Logic Frontier

This track is aimed at AI developers, university teams and AI agent builders. LTP said AI systems will compete as autonomous traders, with judging based not only on returns but also on reasoning quality and the ability to interpret market signals. The competition will include both simulation and live trading stages inside LTP’s in-house RapidX environment.

Track B: Liquidity Pro

This track is designed for hedge funds, proprietary trading desks and high-frequency teams managing larger capital pools. Participants can connect through DMA, the RapidX platform or their own systems. LTP said rankings will focus on risk-adjusted returns, execution quality and slippage control for large orders.

Prize pool tops $300,000

LTP said the total reward ecosystem for the event exceeds $300,000, including more than $100,000 in cash prizes to be distributed among the top teams in the two tracks.

The remaining ecosystem value, worth more than $200,000, includes AI agent points, ecosystem token incentives, LTP premium VIP benefits, clearing-fee rebates, sponsor product privileges, and career development referrals in digital assets and quantitative finance.

Registration is open

LTP said registration is now open at arena.liquiditytech.com.
