Mysten Labs has launched Verifiable Agent Arbiter, or VAA, in partnership with Google Cloud, according to a post shared by Sui on X. The product is aimed at enterprise users and is designed to provide an evidence layer that can prove whether an AI agent acted within its authorized scope. The related proofs are anchored using Sui and WalrusProtocol.
The announcement said VAA brings together an agent’s permissions, its actual actions, and the final outcome. At the same time, sensitive data such as prompts, model outputs, tool calls, and policy decisions remains private and is stored in Google Cloud storage controlled by the customer. Mysten Labs and Google Cloud also said VAA supports dispute replay and event reconstruction, and can enable verifiable agent commerce through Sui Agent payments and x402. The companies said the system may also help enterprises meet regulatory requirements, including those under the EU AI Act.
