Nasdaq-listed NewGen has made an additional $4 million strategic investment in K25.ai, a prediction market platform. The transaction completes K25.ai’s $10 million Pre-A financing round and places the company’s valuation at $100 million. After the financing, NewGen’s ownership stake in K25.ai is expected to reach 10%.
Investment Paired With Asia-Pacific Agency Rights
Alongside the equity investment, NewGen has also obtained exclusive agency rights for K25.ai in the Asia-Pacific region. The arrangement shows that the cooperation disclosed by the two sides includes both a shareholding component and a regional agency component tied to K25.ai’s planned business development in Asia-Pacific.
K25.ai is described as an AI-native live streaming and prediction market platform focused on the Asia-Pacific region. Its product has not yet been officially launched. According to the disclosed information, the platform is applying for relevant regulatory licenses in certain markets. With the Pre-A round now closed, the disclosed details include K25.ai’s financing amount, valuation, NewGen’s expected ownership level, and NewGen’s exclusive agency rights in Asia-Pacific.
