Nubia's NaviX Ultra, co-developed with Doubao, has obtained network access license from MIIT, positioning as the world's first mass-produced AI agent smartphone. Available in four colors and featuring an AI physical button, the phone uses lens modules from Sunny Optical and its Doubao large model has been registered for on-device generative AI.

According to PANews on September 1, citing Red Star News, Nubia's NaviX Ultra has received network access license from China's MIIT, completing the compliance process from large model registration to terminal network access. The device is positioned as the world's first mass-produced AI agent smartphone flagship, scheduled to go on sale in September.

As the second-generation Doubao phone, the NaviX Ultra comes in black, pink, white, and blue, with some models equipped with an orange AI physical button. The lens module is supplied by Sunny Optical. The Doubao phone large model has been registered with the Cyberspace Administration of China for on-device generative AI, listed alongside Apple Intelligence, Huawei Xiaoyi, vivo BlueHeart, and Xiaomi HyperMind.
