OpenSea announced the addition of Solana NFT trading to its OS2 platform, allowing collectors to browse, buy, and sell digital collectibles like Mad Lads and Claynosaurz. OpenSea OS2 Integrates Solana NFTs
OpenSea announced the addition of Solana NFT trading on its OS2 platform, enabling collectors to browse, buy, and sell Solana digital collectibles. Popular series like Mad Lads and Claynosaurz are available at launch.
The rollout, which took effect on August 31, extends OpenSea's Solana services beyond the fungible token support it previously offered. The company said collectors no longer need to switch wallets or visit multiple marketplaces, while Solana creators gain a new channel to reach buyers.
OS2, launched in May 2025, originally provided fungible token trading across 19 chains, including Solana. The new NFT support fills a gap on the Solana side, allowing users to buy, sell, trade, and bid on top Solana collections. This move puts OpenSea in more direct competition with existing Solana marketplaces such as Magic Eden and Tensor.
