OpenSea has restored support for Solana NFT trading, allowing users to buy and sell Solana-based collectibles on the marketplace again. The relaunch covers a number of well-known collections, including Claynosaurz, Mad Lads, BoDoggos, Collector Crypt, and Phygitals. According to an OpenSea representative, the company’s OS2 platform was rebuilt from the ground up as a multi-chain marketplace. Solana token support returned first, and NFT support has now followed. The move puts Solana back in place as the first non-EVM chain supported for NFT trading on OpenSea since the platform first introduced Solana NFT support in beta in April 2022. Solana had already returned to OpenSea alongside OS2 in April 2025, but at that time the rollout only covered fungible tokens, with NFT support still pending. OpenSea’s broader network list remains dominated by EVM-compatible chains such as Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, Base, Monad, Sei, and Berachain. The relaunch also comes at a time when NFT activity remains far below its previous highs. Data from The Block shows monthly market volume reached billions of dollars in 2021 and 2022, but now stands at only hundreds of millions.

OpenSea has resumed support for Solana NFT trading, letting users buy and sell Solana-based collectibles on the platform again. Available collections include Claynosaurz, Mad Lads, BoDoggos, Collector Crypt, and Phygitals.

The return makes Solana once again the first non-EVM chain supported for NFT trading on OpenSea since the marketplace first rolled out Solana NFT support in beta in April 2022.

OS2 adds back Solana NFT functionality

An OpenSea representative said OS2 was rebuilt from the ground up as a multi-chain platform. Solana token support came first, and NFT support has now gone live as well. The representative linked that rollout to a broader trend of collectibles platforms adopting Solana NFTs.

Solana had already come back to OpenSea with OS2 in April 2025, but that launch only supported fungible tokens at the time. The company had said NFT support would follow later.

Most other supported networks are EVM-compatible

OpenSea’s other supported networks are still almost entirely EVM-compatible chains, including Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, Base, Monad, Sei, and Berachain.

NFT market volume remains well below its peak

The rollout comes while the NFT market is still far below its earlier highs. According to The Block data, monthly trading volume reached billions of dollars during 2021 and 2022, but has since fallen to only hundreds of millions.
