OPN is set to launch on March 5 on Binance Alpha, according to an update posted by Binance Alpha on X. Alpha is expected to be the first centralized platform to list the asset. Eligible users will be able to claim rewards with Alpha Points through the Events page once trading goes live. The platform said additional details will be released through official channels.
MEXC will also list OPN on the same day, with spot trading scheduled to begin at 13:00 UTC. Before its move onto centralized exchanges, OPN had already seen strong early activity on decentralized venues. That shifts attention to first-session liquidity and whether buy-side demand can hold up once broader trading opens.
Season 2 airdrop is live after the March 1 snapshot
The launch follows a key project checkpoint. The Season 1 snapshot was taken on March 1, and the Season 2 airdrop is now live. According to the project’s X post, the S2 campaign includes a Double Dip event running until March 15, 15:59 UTC, a 50% trading fee discount for two weeks, and double counting of PTS earned from Feb. 15 to Feb. 28 for both S1 and S2.
Another date on the timeline came on February 19. Coinbase Markets said on X that OPN had been added to Coinbase’s roadmap. That does not confirm trading support, but it does show the token has entered Coinbase’s listing review pipeline.
Total supply stands at 1 billion, with 198.5 million currently circulating
On tokenomics, OPN has a total supply of 1,000,000,000 and a current circulating supply of 198.5 million. The disclosed allocation and vesting structure includes 23% (230M) with 24-month vesting and 0% unlocked at TGE; 11.1% (111M) with 5.65% unlocked and 36-month vesting; 12% (120M) with 1% unlocked and 12-month vesting; 2% (20M) with 100% unlocked; 8.9% (89M) with 7.7% unlocked and 6-month vesting; 19.5% (195M) under 24-month vesting; and 23.5% (235M) with 3.5% unlocked and 7-month vesting.
That structure leaves a large share of supply subject to vesting rather than immediate circulation. In early trading, price swings are still likely to depend more on actual market depth and sustained demand than on headline attention alone.
Reference price sits at $0.5294 ahead of the first centralized debut
The source material lists the current OPN price at $0.5294. With supply capped at 1 billion tokens and 198.5 million already circulating, the March 5 launch is being watched as a near-term market test. The original report says strong buying interest could keep the token above $0.50, while higher volume and positive sentiment could open a move toward $0.75 to $1.00. If profit-taking takes over, the price could slide toward $0.35 to $0.30, and in a broader market decline, $0.25 may act as support.
For now, the first centralized listings on March 5 will serve as the clearest check on whether OPN’s early traction can translate into durable trading demand.
