Ostium, an RWA trading platform on Arbitrum, said it will resume trading at 22:00 on July 23 and will reopen functions in stages. The first phase will allow users to close positions, add margin, update or cancel orders, manage take-profit and stop-loss settings, and undergo forced liquidations where applicable. New positions will only be enabled after pending orders have been cleared. The platform said existing open contracts and pending orders will remain in place. Positions will be marked to the live market price at the moment trading resumes, and only that price will be used to determine whether liquidations or take-profit and stop-loss conditions are triggered. Price moves during the suspension period will not be counted. For liquidity providers, new deposits remain paused, while withdrawals will be processed in the next settlement cycle. Ostium also warned users about impersonation scams, saying it has not issued any recovery registration forms and will not ask for private keys or funds. Foresight News previously reported that Ostium linked its July 15 attack to a compromise of offchain infrastructure tied to the protocol’s pricing system, with losses exceeding $23.75 million.

Ostium, an RWA trading platform on Arbitrum, said it will resume trading at 22:00 on July 23.

The platform said the restart will happen in phases. At first, users will be able to close positions, add margin, update or cancel orders, set or manage take-profit and stop-loss instructions, and process forced liquidations. New positions will be opened only after pending orders have been cleared.

Ostium said existing open contracts and pending orders will remain on the platform. Positions will be marked using the live market price at the time trading resumes, and only that moment’s price will be used to determine whether liquidations or take-profit and stop-loss thresholds are triggered. Price swings during the suspension will not be included.

For liquidity providers, new deposits are still paused. Withdrawals will be handled in the next settlement cycle, according to the update.

Ostium also warned users to watch for impersonation accounts. The team said it has not issued any recovery registration forms and will not ask users for private keys or funds.

Foresight News previously reported that Ostium said an attack on July 15 resulted from hackers compromising offchain infrastructure related to the protocol’s pricing system. Total losses exceeded $23.75 million.

At the time, Ostium said it was working with Mandiant, zeroShadow, Collisionless, SEAL 911, and law enforcement agencies. It also said it was coordinating with exchanges, bridges, and stablecoin issuers, and would provide notice 24 hours before the restart.
