ChainCatcher reported, citing a public disclosure by crypto user @HowardLouisHL, that the user deposited 100,000 USDT into Ourbit on June 30, 2026 and traded normally for about a week before running into withdrawal restrictions. On July 4, when the user tried to withdraw funds to Binance, the system reportedly blocked the transfer. According to the disclosure, customer service only said the account had “triggered risk control” and did not provide a specific explanation.
The user said the account was then barred from logging in the following day. After being required to submit full identity and account materials, the user received an official email from Ourbit on July 20 stating that the review had been postponed until July 3, 2027, adding that the timeline “may be extended again without reason.” The user has asked for three things: disclosure of the specific reason for the risk-control action, a clear processing timetable, and the immediate unfreezing and return of the 100,000 USDT. As of now, Ourbit has not issued a public response to the matter.
