Pantera Capital said in its latest State of Tokenization report that the tokenized asset market has grown to $332 billion across 671 assets, with institutional participation picking up this quarter. The report said JPMorgan, HSBC, and Fidelity Investments have each launched on-chain products, pointing to broader adoption by major financial firms. Pantera also highlighted BlackRock’s BUIDL fund, saying it moved $441 million on-chain in June. The report added that the fund has a $1 billion daily redemption facility and is already being accepted as collateral. On the retail-facing side, Robinhood Chain reached $888 million in weekly RWA trading volume in August, two months after launch. The report said the collateral market is maturing, with private credit deploying 45% of its matched value into DeFi. It also noted that even without a market structure bill, a five-year exemption from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission allows tokenized equities to keep developing under existing rules.
