The Pharos network is officially moving from its high-performance testnet to the Pacific Ocean Mainnet. As part of this milestone, the project has opened registration for the Pharos airdrop, allowing early supporters to claim $PROS tokens. The registration window closes on April 25, 2026 at 12:00 UTC.
Backed by a $44 million Series A round, Pharos has secured a listing on Coinbase for $PROS on the Base network. The mainnet launch is expected in Q3 2026. Token claims start on April 28 at 11:00 UTC, with the claiming window open until October 25, 2026.
Eligibility and Reward Strategies
The airdrop targets four groups: testnet participants (on-chain tasks and daily check-ins), "Stake Before the Stake" contributors (OKX Wallet campaign participants), Discord role holders (active community members), and OKX Wallet campaign users (Boost Giveaway quests). Users must check eligibility via the official OKX Wallet airdrop checker, the exclusive partner for this event.
After registering, users can choose a reward strategy: Instant Claim (tokens on April 28), 30-day lock (1.05x bonus), 60-day lock (1.12x), or 90-day lock (maximum 1.20x). Those not in a rush to sell can lock tokens for higher rewards.
Community Controversy Over Narrow Criteria
Shortly after the airdrop announcement, social media saw a wave of "Pharos scam" accusations. Many dedicated testnet participants reported being ineligible despite months of activity. The backlash centers on criteria that favored specific OKX campaigns over general testnet usage. The team addressed concerns during recent X Spaces, noting that a Season 2 airdrop is already in development, focusing on governance and long-term ecosystem incentives.
Despite the drama, $PROS launch proceeds at full speed. Coinbase's support on Base network gives the token immediate access to millions of traders. The $PROS mainnet and token generation in Q3 2026 will mark a key shift in RealFi on-chain assets.
