Phemex has launched AI Bot, turning its AI-Native Initiative into a live product for traders rather than a company-level strategy alone. The exchange said the tool is aimed at its global base of 10 million users and is designed as an “Intelligent Trading Partner,” with the goal of moving trading behavior away from emotional manual execution and toward a “Human + AI Collaboration” model.

The release follows Phemex’s earlier shift toward becoming an AI-native organization. In the company’s framing, AI Bot is a visible product milestone because it puts artificial intelligence directly into the user-facing trading stack. The bot automates quantitative strategies across Futures Grid, Spot Grid, and Martingale systems.

Machine learning engine handles live strategy execution

Phemex said the bot uses machine learning to process millions of data points in real time and apply that analysis to trading logic and parameter management. The company also said the engine was built with “Risk-Aware Intelligence,” which dynamically adjusts leverage and settings according to historical volatility. The pitch is clear: risk control comes before aggression.

Based on the company’s description, the product is meant to lower the barrier for traders using systematic strategies while keeping execution disciplined. Phemex said the purpose is to help users gain an edge from AI tools rather than lose ground to increasingly automated markets.

Campaign of more than $1 million launched with the product

Alongside the rollout, Phemex introduced the AI Bot Carnival, a trading campaign with rewards totaling more than $1,000,000. The program includes a 100% Loss Protection Program for newcomers, which the exchange said is intended to remove entry friction for first-time quantitative traders. It also includes tiered volume-based rewards of up to 5,000 USDT and incentives tied to using multiple bots, encouraging a more diversified and systematic approach to portfolio management.

Phemex CEO Federico Variola said the launch shows the company’s AI-Native strategy is already operational rather than theoretical. He described the exchange’s direction as one where intelligent systems are embedded into how products function, adding that the AI Bot release is an early but concrete move within that long-term plan.

Exchange says AI will be embedded deeper into infrastructure

Phemex was founded in 2019. According to the company, the platform offers spot trading, derivatives, copy trading, and wealth management products. With AI Bot now live, the exchange said it will keep moving toward a fully AI-native model in which intelligence is integrated at the infrastructure level and gradually built into the trading experience itself.
