Phemex has announced the launch of AI Bot, presenting it as a product milestone in the company’s AI-native push. The exchange said the tool is now live for its global user base and tied the launch to its broader plan of embedding artificial intelligence into both internal operations and user-facing products. Phemex says its platform serves more than 10 million users worldwide.

Bot connects AI to existing quantitative trading systems

According to the company, the new bot uses machine learning to process millions of data points in real time and automate quantitative strategies across Futures Grid, Spot Grid, and Martingale systems. Phemex described the product as an “Intelligent Trading Partner” designed to shift trading behavior away from emotional manual execution and toward a “Human + AI Collaboration” model. The message is clear: AI is being placed directly inside trading workflows, not kept as a back-office experiment.

Risk controls center on volatility and leverage settings

Phemex said the engine was built with what it calls “Risk-Aware Intelligence”. In practice, that means leverage and strategy parameters are adjusted dynamically based on historical volatility, with capital preservation positioned as a central objective. The announcement did not include detailed model metrics or performance figures, but it did make clear that the product is being marketed around risk management as much as automation.

Launch comes with a campaign worth over $1,000,000

Alongside the release, the exchange introduced the AI Bot Carnival, a trading campaign valued at more than $1,000,000. Phemex said the program includes a 100% Loss Protection Program for new users, aimed at lowering the barrier to trying quantitative trading. The campaign also includes tiered rewards based on trading volume, with payouts of up to 5,000 USDT, plus incentives for using multiple bots as part of a more systematic and diversified portfolio setup.

Company frames the launch as an operational AI-native step

Phemex CEO Federico Variola said the release shows the company’s AI-native strategy is already operational rather than theoretical. He said Phemex is building an exchange where intelligent systems are embedded into product behavior, not tested only at the margins. The company added that the roadmap does not stop with this product release and that its longer-term direction is a fully AI-native exchange model with intelligence integrated at the infrastructure layer and throughout the trading experience.

Founded in 2019, Phemex offers spot trading, derivatives, copy trading, and wealth management products, according to the company’s description.
