An OG Ethereum whale, pinosaur.eth, has fully exited a long-held ETH position after moving 9,618 ETH to Kraken, according to on-chain analyst Ember. The transfer took place six hours before the report and was valued at about $24.58 million at the time. Ember said the wallet realized $24.21 million in profit on the sale, equal to a 65x return. The holdings had reportedly been kept for nine years before the exit. The wallet’s ETH can be traced back to April 2017, when 7,459 ETH was withdrawn from Bitfinex. At that time, ETH was priced at $50, providing the earliest reference point cited for the position’s accumulation history. The monitored address was identified as pinosaur.eth (0x0F8...605A).

Odaily reported that OG whale pinosaur.eth (0x0F8...605A) moved 9,618 ETH, held for nine years, to Kraken and fully sold the position six hours before the report, according to on-chain analyst Ember. The holdings were worth about $24.58 million at the time.

Ember said the wallet locked in $24.21 million in profit, for a 65x return.

The earliest trace of the wallet’s ETH dates back to April 2017, when 7,459 ETH was withdrawn from Bitfinex. ETH was priced at $50 at that time.
