Polymarket is working with Palantir Technologies and TWG AI on an AI surveillance tool for sports-related prediction contracts, designed to detect unusual trading and help stop potential insider activity. The system is expected to be deployed on a new U.S.-compliant platform that Polymarket is preparing, tying the project directly to the company’s effort to return to the American market.

Tool focuses on suspicious trading in sports contracts

According to an official announcement, Palantir and TWG AI will help Polymarket build a dedicated monitoring system to strengthen oversight of sports prediction markets on the platform. The tool is intended to track trading activity in real time, identify suspicious behavior, and report possible rule violations. It will also cross-check platform users against blacklisted individuals who are barred from participating in sports betting, adding another layer of screening around market access.

People familiar with the matter also said Polymarket is working with compliance advisory firm Integrity Compliance 360, which focuses on flagging and analyzing unusual betting patterns in sports and gaming. One part of the setup is built around surveillance technology, the other around compliance review. Together, they show how seriously the company is treating monitoring ahead of its next U.S. push.

Planned deployment on a regulated U.S. venue

Polymarket’s main platform currently operates offshore and blocks U.S. local users from taking part. That may soon change. The company recently acquired a platform regulated by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, or CFTC, and has already opened a waitlist. The Palantir-backed surveillance system is expected to be rolled out on that new U.S. compliant platform once it is ready.

Compliance pressure is rising across prediction markets

The move comes as scrutiny of prediction markets keeps climbing. Rival platform Kalshi has taken a more public stance on enforcement, creating a dedicated committee to publish quarterly data on suspicious-trading investigations and recently referring two potential insider-trading cases to the CFTC. For Polymarket, bringing in outside technology and compliance support looks less like an optional upgrade and more like part of the groundwork needed for a regulated return to the U.S.
