Porsche has shut down PIONΞERS CIRCLE, its 911 NFT project, leaving buyers holding digital collectibles that have lost most of their value. According to the report, the collection’s floor price is down more than 96% from its peak.

PIONΞERS CIRCLE offered holders access to events, awards, and other opportunities tied to Porsche’s 911-themed NFTs. Porsche did not spell out why the project was closed, but in a statement on X it described the initiative as a place for “experimentation” and a “shared adventure.”
The company said: “As this journey draws to a close, Porsche continues to evolve, adapting to new opportunities and shaping the future in its own way.”
Floor price dropped from above 3 ETH to 0.077 ETH
When the collection launched in 2023, minting one Porsche 911 NFT cost 0.911 ETH, worth roughly $1,400 at the time. About one month later, the floor price rose to more than 3 ETH, then valued at around $5,100.
Since then, the floor price has fallen to 0.077 ETH, or about $200. Protos said that marks a decline of more than 96% from the high and leaves the collection about 85% below its original 0.911 ETH mint price.

Despite the shutdown, Porsche said the NFTs will remain with their respective holders and continue to exist on the blockchain.
Shutdown comes alongside broader pressure on Porsche
The report said Porsche dropped out of Germany’s DAX stock index last year after a weak year for profits. Michael Leiters took over in January 2026 as the company was already scaling back what the report described as its “ultra-ambitious” electric vehicle production plans.
Porsche reportedly said this year that it would cut 3,900 jobs by 2030 and another 5,000 by 2035. In the first half of 2026, deliveries in China reportedly fell by 32%, while overall deliveries dropped 16.5%.
The company still reported a 34% rise in profit, but its XETRA stock price is down almost 39% over the last year, according to the report.
