Renaiss Protocol used Hong Kong Web3 Festival as the backdrop for a two-day “Hong Kong Local TCG Tour,” bringing community members directly into the city’s trading card game collecting scene. Held on April 21 and 22, the event was organized with its sub-brand Renaiss Collectibles and covered stops including Smiling Plaza in Cheung Sha Wan, Sino Centre in Mong Kok, Wong Tai Sin, Kwun Tong, and Causeway Bay.

The tour followed a city-route format, with participants moving in groups through local card shops, trading spaces, and cultural landmarks. On-site support was offered in both Chinese and English, allowing attendees from different regions to communicate more easily during the trip. Renaiss framed the experience as a way to show the structure and energy of Hong Kong’s TCG market through direct observation rather than online discussion alone.

Card shop visits turned online participation into physical collection experience

During the tour, attendees visited local stores and trading hubs to compare shop styles, card categories, and collecting environments. Conversations on site covered pack opening, card condition, artwork, grading, rarity, collecting logic, and how different categories are viewed in the market. Renaiss CEO Winchman also joined the event and purchased multiple Pokémon and One Piece card boxes and packs for participants to open in-store.

Some community members also completed in-person card pickups at Renaiss partner stores, extending activity from the platform’s marketplace into direct physical delivery and contact with the items themselves. For users who first entered the TCG segment through Renaiss pack launches, marketplace activity, and community content, the offline tour added a concrete setting to what had previously been mostly digital interaction.

Local Hong Kong culture was built into the route

The itinerary also included a stop at Wong Tai Sin Temple, where participants took part in a locally themed “God Pack” blessing experience for unopened packs. That stop added a distinctly Hong Kong element to the event and tied collecting rituals to the city’s cultural setting. Participants also shared local meals and snacks during the trip, creating more room for casual conversation.

Renaiss positions the project around tokenized real collectibles

In the release, Renaiss said collectibles carry more than price and trading value, pointing as well to community ties, cultural memory, and long-term engagement. It uses that idea to explain its push to bring real collectibles on-chain, with an emphasis on authenticity records, circulation paths, participation methods, and ecosystem collaboration.

Built on BNB Chain, Renaiss describes itself as liquidity infrastructure for real collectibles. The project said it is working across tokenization, circulation, settlement, and broader participation scenarios. It also said a more complete on-chain network is taking shape around pack sales, trading liquidity, community incentives, and ecosystem coordination.

Renaiss also disclosed that its platform’s total trading volume has surpassed $9 million. It added that monthly newly added trading volume exceeded $4 million during March and April. With Hong Kong Web3 Festival concluded, the two-day local TCG tour served as a live demonstration of how the project wants to connect collecting culture, community activity, and on-chain circulation.
