Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse said the company wants to reach a $1 trillion valuation, arguing that the path there depends on long-term execution around XRP rather than reacting to short-term market swings. The comments were made during XRP Community Day on X and have pushed XRP’s medium- to long-term price outlook back into focus.
Based on figures cited in the report, Ripple is currently valued at about $40 billion. Getting to $1 trillion would require roughly 25x growth from that level. Garlinghouse said the crypto industry is likely to produce companies on the scale of Apple, Nvidia, and Alphabet, and Ripple wants to be among them.
Recent acquisitions are being assembled into an XRP-centered enterprise stack
Garlinghouse’s message was clear: build a broader financial services platform, then connect those pieces through XRP and the XRP Ledger. Ripple has recently acquired prime brokerage Hidden Road for $1.25 billion, treasury management firm GTreasury for $1 billion, stablecoin company Rail for $200 million, and wallet provider Palisade to expand digital asset storage and management tools for businesses.
The company plans to integrate those acquisitions and existing services into a single operating structure in 2026. For now, the priority is improving what Ripple already owns and runs, not rushing into more deals. Garlinghouse added that acquisition activity could resume in the second half of the year if the right opportunities appear.
XRP remains the company’s “north star”
Garlinghouse said XRP is not a side asset inside Ripple’s product strategy. He described it as the company’s “north star,” saying Ripple’s mission is tied to the success of XRP and the XRP Ledger ecosystem, with product development aligned around that objective. That means brokerage, treasury, stablecoin, and wallet services are meant to support the same core direction rather than grow as isolated business lines.
He also urged XRP holders to keep their attention on long-term goals instead of short-term price declines. The report notes that if Ripple’s roadmap works, some analysts expect XRP to grind toward the $2 to $3 range in the next cycle, while longer-range models point to double-digit prices by 2030. The headline frames the nearer-term target zone at $2.00 to $2.30.
