Robinhood has struck a multi-year strategic partnership with crypto exchange Crypto.com and will take minority stakes in both Crypto.com and its prediction-market company OG.com, according to a Reuters report cited by ABMedia. The agreement will also bring some sports event contracts into the Robinhood app.
Minority investments in both companies
The two sides did not disclose the amount invested or the size of Robinhood’s stake in either company.
The pricing benchmark for the equity deal will follow Citadel Securities’ recent investment in the two businesses. At that time, Crypto.com Group was valued at about $15 billion, while OG.com was valued at about $5 billion, for a combined figure of roughly $20 billion.
Prediction markets come first
Crypto.com CEO Kris Marszalek said prediction markets are only the first product the companies will launch together. He said they may later explore other businesses as well, including stock-linked perpetual futures if regulators allow it.
OG was previously Crypto.com’s in-house prediction-market business and was recently spun out as a standalone company. Marszalek serves as CEO of both Crypto.com and OG.com.
OG.com runs a derivatives exchange and clearinghouse regulated by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, or CFTC. It offers event contracts tied to sports, politics and economic outcomes. Crypto.com began offering prediction-market products through its derivatives business in late 2024 and launched OG in February 2026. Marszalek said OG’s business has grown about 20-fold this year and that the company wants to build it into the world’s most liquid venue for innovative derivatives trading.
Football contracts and a midterm election push
Once the partnership goes live, Robinhood will route some professional and college American football event contracts to OG’s regulated exchange. The stated aim is to add trading venues and liquidity before the U.S. professional football season begins.
Robinhood has also redesigned its football prediction-market interface and plans to add player statistics and team rankings to lower the barrier for retail users trying to understand event contracts.
Outside sports, Robinhood is building a dedicated prediction-market page for the 2026 U.S. midterm elections. The page will cover state and federal elections, and the company plans to provide near real-time vote-count data after voting ends. Some of those contracts may also eventually be executed by Crypto.com or OG.
Event contracts brought in $156 million in Q2
Prediction markets have become an important growth engine for Robinhood. Reuters reported that event contracts generated a record $156 million in revenue for the company in the second quarter of 2026.
Robinhood had already partnered with prediction-market platform Kalshi and co-founded derivatives exchange Rothera with quantitative trading firm Susquehanna International Group. Adding Crypto.com and OG.com points to a multi-venue routing model closer to the structure used by brokerages.
Under that setup, the platform can direct user orders to different venues based on liquidity, pricing and contract variety. That reduces reliance on a single prediction-market provider and gives Robinhood a steadier supply of contracts during major sports events and election cycles.
