According to The Block, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit formally ended Sam Bankman-Fried's appeal on Tuesday, after the court unanimously rejected his request for a new trial in June.
SBF, convicted on seven counts of fraud tied to FTX, was sentenced to 25 years in prison and ordered to forfeit $11 billion. Those rulings remain in effect, leaving the Supreme Court as his only potential path for review.
