Securitize shares climbed about 10% on Thursday after the company launched tokenized US equities on Solana, giving eligible investors access to stock exposure backed by underlying shares and tied to dividend and voting rights.

Securitize Stocks debuts with 12 US-listed companies
The new product, called Securitize Stocks, includes tokenized shares of Apple, Nvidia, Microsoft, Tesla and eight other US-listed companies, according to Thursday’s announcement. Each token is backed one-for-one by an underlying share and will initially trade during extended market hours through Securitize’s registered broker-dealer platform.
Securitize said the tokens represent security entitlements under Article 8 of the Uniform Commercial Code and keep applicable shareholder benefits, including dividends and voting rights. The company also said it plans to make the assets available on tokenized securities platforms being developed by the New York Stock Exchange and OKXICE, although neither platform has provided a launch date.
USDC settlement on Solana, with 24/7 trading planned
The tokens will settle in USDC on Solana. Jump Trading will provide liquidity through market-making services.
Trading will start during extended market hours. Securitize said it plans to expand access to round-the-clock trading on a timeline that has not been specified.
Ripple Prime and Aave named in broader rollout plans
Beyond secondary trading, Securitize said it is exploring wider uses for the tokenized equities. According to the company, Ripple Prime plans to support the launch and examine how the assets could be incorporated into its institutional trading services. Decentralized lending platform Aave was also identified as a potential venue where the tokenized stocks could be used as collateral.

Ripple Prime had not responded to Cointelegraph’s request for additional detail by the time of publication.
Second sharp rally for the stock this week
Thursday marked the second notable intraday rally in Securitize shares this week. The stock rose nearly 8% in early trading on Tuesday, when the company announced a partnership with South Korean technology firm LG CNS to explore tokenized funds, equities and stablecoins for financial institutions.
That agreement also covers infrastructure intended to connect local financial institutions with global capital markets. It followed a memorandum of understanding signed in September with Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority to support regulated tokenization initiatives in Dubai.
Shares up roughly 54% over the past month as RWA market grows
Yahoo Finance data shows Securitize shares have gained roughly 54% over the past month.
The company’s expansion comes as tokenized real-world assets continue to grow across the market. Data from RWA.xyz shows distributed asset value excluding stablecoins reached $38.88 billion as of Thursday, up from $25.36 billion a year earlier.
