Securitize has rolled out a new tokenized equities product on Solana, starting with 12 widely held U.S. stocks including Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Google, Tesla, Meta, Amazon, Netflix, Circle, Strategy and Palantir. The company said each token is backed one-to-one by a real underlying share rather than merely mirroring the stock price, and that the structure gives holders a security entitlement under the Uniform Commercial Code. According to Securitize, that setup is meant to preserve investor rights and economic benefits such as dividends and, where applicable, voting rights. The tokens will trade first on Securitize’s registered broker-dealer platform, settle in USDC, and be offered to eligible investors in the United States, the European Union and other permitted jurisdictions. At launch, liquidity will come through Securitize’s Solana-based automated market maker, with Jump Trading acting as market maker. The company also named Ripple Prime and Aave among partners as it pushes the assets into onchain lending and collateral markets. The release comes as competition to bring stocks onto blockchain rails picks up, with Securitize saying its tokens are expected to trade on planned venues from the New York Stock Exchange and OKX-ICE once those platforms go live.

Securitize has launched a tokenized equities product on Solana, bringing 12 major U.S. stocks onchain in a structure the company says is backed one-to-one by real shares.

Announced Wednesday, Securitize Stocks opens with security entitlements tied to Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Google, Tesla, Meta, Amazon, Netflix, Circle, Strategy and Palantir. The company said the product is designed for crypto traders, with Solana serving as the first network.

Trading starts on Solana and settles in USDC

The tokens will initially trade on Securitize’s registered broker-dealer platform on Solana and settle in USDC. Securitize said the product will be available to eligible investors in the U.S., the European Union and other permitted jurisdictions.

The company drew a distinction between its structure and offshore tokenized-equity products that only track a stock’s price. Securitize said each Securitize Stock is backed one-to-one by an underlying share and represents a security entitlement under the Uniform Commercial Code. In its description, that preserves investor rights and economic benefits including dividends and, where applicable, voting rights.

Securitize also said the shares backing the tokens will not be lent out. Where an issuer supports it, holders will be able to convert their entitlements into actual registered shares.

Domingo says tokenized stocks should preserve ownership rights

“Tokenized stocks should give investors more than a price on a wrapper that tracks a stock and is only offered offshore,” Securitize chairman and CEO Carlos Domingo said. He described the goal as bringing equities onchain “without leaving behind the ownership, investor protections and market infrastructure that make U.S. capital markets work.”

Trading infrastructure is still being built out. At launch, liquidity will run through Securitize’s Solana-based automated market maker, with Jump Trading serving as market maker. Trading will be available during extended hours first, with a move to 24/7 trading planned later.

Ripple Prime and Aave are listed as partners

The release names several partners, including Ripple Prime and Aave, as Securitize moves to make the asset usable across onchain lending and collateral markets.

Launch arrives as tokenized stock competition heats up

The rollout comes as more firms push to bring stocks onto blockchain networks. Securitize’s own shares have traded on Solana since its New York Stock Exchange listing in July, according to the report. It also said the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s “innovation exemption” has opened a compliant route for tokenized stocks, while competitors ranging from Coinbase to the NYSE and an OKX-ICE venture have entered the field.

Securitize said its tokens are expected to trade on the NYSE’s planned 24/7 venue and the OKX-ICE tokenized-securities venue, though neither platform has launched yet.
