Serenity Slams Paid Walls in Research Circles, Keeps Subscription at $1

Serenity, known online as "White-Haired Stock God," said on X that finance content on the platform was filled with luxury watches, private jets, options trading, and paid groups built around "Wall Street secrets" and technical charts when he first joined. That, he said, is why he chose a different approach: publish his research and investment logic in public, let everyone access it for free, and make their own judgment. He also said he has recently seen another pattern that disappoints him. In his telling, some creators first compete for the same audience, then quickly redirect traffic to paid communities or high-priced services. After he refuses to join or promote those paid groups, he said, they attack him personally and repackage that as a disagreement over fundamentals. Serenity said his subscription price has stayed at $1 for months and will remain at the lowest level. He added that people had previously claimed he would eventually raise it to $100, but said his core investment logic is posted directly on his X timeline. He noted that he could put more material behind a paywall, but said, "I just don't want to do that." He then listed a range of ideas he had shared before: AXTI, NBIS, AEHR, MU, INTC, EWY, MRVL, LITE, RPI, IQE, SOI, TSEM, ARM, and COHR. According to Serenity, many of those ideas have already performed well. Some other bets have not played out yet because industry developments were delayed, including LPKF’s glass substrates and Auros’ hybrid bonding. He said some themes may need until 2027 or 2028 to be validated, including Sivers, Foci, Shunsin, CCXI, XFAB, CPO, humanoid systems, and new research on Etron/ESMT DDR2 and DDR3. Serenity said not every investment idea will be right, and that is part of research. He said he would rather see X become a place where investment logic is shared openly and everyone can learn from research than a platform where information gets locked behind a $100 paywall or diluted by engagement bait.
