Privacy trading platform Shield Swap said it has partnered with intent execution layer NEAR Intents to support cross-chain private trading. Under the setup, participants can bring in assets originating from both EVM and non-EVM networks through NEAR Intents, with solvers competing to provide what the platform described as the best execution path. Once assets enter Shield Swap and are shielded, users’ identities, holdings, and trading activity remain encrypted and confidential. The system also generates compliance records that can be disclosed to authorized parties. Shield Swap added that transactions on the source chain remain visible, and privacy protections begin only after assets enter Shield Swap and complete the shielding process. The platform said early access is now open to both institutions and individual users.
