Sigmaintell said in its latest memory price tracker that the global storage market will remain in a tight supply-demand balance in the third quarter of 2026. Prices across all DRAM and NAND Flash categories are still expected to rise on a quarter-over-quarter basis. Even so, the pace of those increases has slowed clearly compared with the second quarter. The firm said some memory chip categories have already seen their quarter-over-quarter price gains narrow to less than 10%. The update points to continued upward pricing across the memory market, but with less momentum than in the prior quarter. DRAM refers to dynamic random-access memory, while NAND Flash covers flash storage products.

According to ChainCatcher, research firm Sigmaintell said in its memory price tracker that the global storage market will remain tight overall in the third quarter of 2026.

Prices across all DRAM categories, or dynamic random-access memory, and NAND Flash products are still rising on a quarter-over-quarter basis. Compared with the second quarter, though, the size of those price increases has slowed clearly, and some memory chip categories have seen quarter-over-quarter gains narrow to less than 10%.
