Solana has added a tokenized exchange-traded fund for the semiconductor memory sector. On June 26, the Roundhill DRAM Memory ETF went live on the chain through Sunrise DeFi and Backpack Securities, giving users on-chain access to Micron, SK Hynix, Samsung and other top memory chip makers in one tradable token.
Sunrise DeFi confirmed the launch on X, and Backpack Securities handled the token issuance. The DRAM ETF is not the first tokenized asset on Solana — June alone brought SPCX (SpaceX equity), SNDK (SanDisk stock), and PAXG (physical gold) — but it marks the first time a multi-company semiconductor ETF is available on-chain.
DRAM ETF Holdings: Micron, SK Hynix, Samsung On-Chain
DRAM is an actively managed ETF focused on the semiconductor memory industry. Its holdings include: Micron Technology (the largest U.S. memory chip maker), SK Hynix (South Korea's dominant DRAM producer), Samsung Electronics (the world's biggest memory supplier), as well as other players across Asia and the U.S. These companies power AI data centers, smartphones, and cloud storage; memory chips are among the most in-demand tech components today.
The ETF compresses an entire sector into one token. Users do not need a brokerage account or new platform sign-up — they can trade directly within the Solana ecosystem.
Live on 10 Platforms: Phantom, Jupiter, Meteora, More
The DRAM token is immediately available on Phantom (leading Solana wallet), Jupiter (top DEX aggregator), Backpack (DeFi wallet), MarginFi (use the MEMORY token as collateral to earn or borrow), Meteora and other major trading and swap platforms. No slow rollout, no waitlist — full coverage from day one.
Like all Sunrise DeFi tokenized assets on Solana, DRAM supports 24/7 trading, including weekends and outside U.S. market hours.
Solana's Tokenized Asset Momentum: 97% of All On-Chain Equity Volume
June's pattern on Solana has been clear: first individual stocks, now a multi-company ETF. Logical next steps include broader ETF categories — AI infrastructure, biotech, energy, or global indices. The chain's tokenized equity trading volume hit a daily record of $187.9 million in mid-June, with Solana accounting for 97% of all on-chain tokenized equity volume globally.
SPCX crossed $86 million on day one. DRAM covers a broader sector. If its first-week volume matches or surpasses that, it signals that demand for tokenized ETFs is real — not just a short-term novelty around SpaceX.
