Sonic Labs says S tokens were moved back to its own account
Sonic Labs said in a post on X that, after its partnership with CMCC Resonance Fund ended, 40,489,729.04 S tokens previously allocated to that arrangement were recovered on Aug. 21 and transferred to a Binance account controlled by Sonic Labs.
The company said no tokens were sold in the transfer.
Sonic Labs also said it had previously promised to notify the community before any major token movement, but that this transfer was announced only after it had been executed.
It said future token transfers will first go through an internal communication process, and that major transfers, exchange transfers and any sales will be announced ahead of time.
