According to SoSoValue data cited by ChainCatcher, spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded total net outflows of $316 million during last week’s trading days, covering the period from June 8 to June 12 Eastern Time. The figure reflects the combined net creation and redemption activity across spot Bitcoin ETF products tracked in the data set for that trading week.
IBIT and GBTC led weekly outflows
The spot Bitcoin ETF with the largest net outflow last week was BlackRock’s ETF IBIT, which recorded $355 million in weekly net outflows. Despite that weekly outflow, IBIT’s total historical net inflows stood at $62.11 billion at the time of the data release, according to the same SoSoValue figures.
Grayscale’s Bitcoin Trust GBTC ranked second among products with weekly net outflows. GBTC saw $87.9141 million in net outflows over the same period. Its total historical net outflows reached $26.85 billion, based on the data cited by ChainCatcher.
FBTC recorded the largest weekly inflow
Among products that saw net inflows, Fidelity’s ETF FBTC had the highest weekly total. FBTC recorded $55.6961 million in net inflows during the trading week from June 8 to June 12 Eastern Time. Its cumulative historical net inflows reached $10.45 billion.
As of publication, the total net asset value of spot Bitcoin ETFs stood at $79.65 billion. The ETF net asset ratio, defined in the report as the market value of these ETFs relative to Bitcoin’s total market capitalization, was 6.26%. Historical cumulative net inflows into spot Bitcoin ETFs had reached $53.62 billion.
