The South Korean Financial Commission plans to expand the scope of its regulatory sandbox to cover virtual assets. The regulatory sandbox is a framework that allows fintech companies to test innovative products in a controlled environment. Including virtual assets means that cryptocurrency-related innovations could be piloted under more flexible regulatory oversight.


Meanwhile, Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, has partnered with cryptocurrency exchange OKX to form a joint venture named OKXICE. ICE operates one of the world's largest stock exchanges, while OKX is a leading crypto trading platform. This partnership signals deeper integration between traditional finance and the digital asset industry.
