According to the latest reports, South Korea's Financial Services Commission (FSC) plans to expand the scope of its regulatory sandbox to include virtual assets. The move aims to support fintech innovation in digital assets, allowing companies to test new products and services in a controlled environment. The expansion is expected to encourage more virtual asset-related innovation.


Meanwhile, Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, has partnered with cryptocurrency platform OKX to form a joint venture named OKXICE. The collaboration aims to combine ICE's traditional exchange compliance expertise with OKX's digital asset technology, accelerating the institutional adoption of cryptocurrencies.
