Strategy CEO: Bitcoin Fell 4% in Week of $2M Sale, Rose 6% After $216M Sale

BitcoinTreasuries.NET, in an X post, cited Strategy CEO Phong Le as saying that bitcoin fell 4% in the week the firm sold $2 million of the cryptocurrency, and slid 11% the week after. Around one month later, Strategy sold $216 million in bitcoin, and the price rose 6% that week. The post added that Strategy's bitcoin sales did not affect the market.

The X account BitcoinTreasuries.NET said in a post that Strategy CEO Phong Le detailed how bitcoin's price moved around two company sales. "In the week we sold $2 million in bitcoin, bitcoin fell 4%; the following week it fell 11%. A month later, we sold $216 million in bitcoin; that week bitcoin rose 6%," Le said, according to the post.

The account added that Strategy's sales did not affect the market.
