Strategy Inc. (Nasdaq: STRF/STRC/STRK/STRD/MSTR), the world's largest corporate Bitcoin holder, reported $2.8 billion in net income and diluted earnings per share of $8.42 for the third quarter of 2025, highlighting the continued strength of its Bitcoin treasury and digital credit strategy.
Q3 Highlights: Record Holdings and Yield
As of late October 2025, Strategy's Bitcoin holdings reached 640,808 BTC, with a total market value of approximately $70.9 billion. The company has raised $20 billion year-to-date through its capital markets platform. CEO Phong Le stated: “We increased our bitcoin holdings to 640,808 bitcoin and have raised $20 billion year-to-date through our robust capital markets platform.” CFO Andrew Kang added: “We generated BTC Yield of 26% and BTC $ Gain of $13 billion year-to-date, and we are reaffirming our full-year guidance for operating income of $34 billion, net income of $24 billion, and diluted EPS of $80 per share, based on a BTC price outlook of $150,000 at the end of the year.”
Digital Credit Model: Over $71 Billion in Collateral
Executive chairman Michael Saylor emphasized the structural strength of the business model: “Strategy has built over $71 billion of transparent, scalable, and homogeneous collateral, enabling us to be the leading issuer of digital credit with a broad suite of securities across the yield and volatility spectrum.” During the quarter, the company raised more than $5 billion through preferred stock offerings and obtained an S&P rating of “B-”. Saylor noted that the digital treasury business model allows creation of tax-efficient credit instruments with 'ROC' (return of capital) dividends, offering superior yield compared to traditional credit. Industry observers view this trajectory as evidence that corporate Bitcoin adoption is shifting from speculative to structural, with Strategy’s model signaling a maturing, yield-generating phase for institutional digital asset investment.
Market Reaction and Industry Implications
Analysts highlighted that Strategy has achieved substantial earnings growth for the second consecutive quarter, with its Bitcoin portfolio reaching $70.9 billion by late October, supported by an increasingly diversified credit issuance model. As Bitcoin's value as a corporate asset class continues to be validated, Strategy's benchmark role is expected to accelerate Bitcoin allocation by other publicly traded companies. The company's projection of $80 EPS for the full year, contingent on Bitcoin reaching $150,000 by year-end, has attracted increasing interest from traditional investors.
