Strategy-related securities moved higher as Bitcoin briefly rose past $79,400, lifting the company’s common stock and preferred product at the same time. According to MSX.COM data, Strategy’s MSTR shares reached a two-month intraday high and briefly traded above $120 before giving back part of the gain. Its preferred stock product, STRC, also moved above $96 for the first time since June. The rebound follows a period of pressure on STRC, which had previously fallen below $70 as the market questioned Strategy’s ability to keep paying dividends and sustain a long-term $100 share price target. In recent weeks, the company has continued to manage its balance sheet through capital markets activity, including using proceeds from MSTR stock issuance to support preferred share repurchases, dividend payments, and the buildup of U.S. dollar reserves. Strategy had earlier disclosed that, as of mid-August, it held about 840,447 BTC and roughly $4.8 billion in dollar reserves. The latest price move in MSTR and STRC comes as Bitcoin recovers and risk appetite improves, though both securities remain closely tied to Bitcoin’s direction and the company’s continued execution of its Bitcoin treasury strategy.

Strategy (MSTR) shares climbed to a two-month high on Friday, briefly trading above $120 after Bitcoin moved past $79,400 for a short period, according to MSX.COM data. The stock later gave back part of those gains.

At the same time, Strategy’s preferred stock product STRC rose above $96 for the first time since June.

STRC had previously fallen below $70 after the market raised concerns about the company’s ability to pay dividends and maintain a long-term $100 price target.

Strategy has recently continued to manage its balance sheet through capital markets activity. That includes using funds raised from MSTR stock issuance to support preferred share repurchases, dividend payments, and the buildup of U.S. dollar reserves.

The company had earlier disclosed that, as of mid-August, it held about 840,447 BTC and around $4.8 billion in dollar reserves.

Market participants said the recent move in Strategy-linked securities reflects a repricing opportunity as Bitcoin recovers and investor risk appetite improves. Even so, future performance for MSTR and STRC remains heavily dependent on Bitcoin’s price path and on the company’s continued execution of its Bitcoin treasury strategy.
