After the release of GPT-6 Astra, 22-year-old Kick streamer N3on (real name Mikyle Rafiq) decided to combine these technologies for an experiment: a never-ending livestream. He aimed to cash in on the trend, calling himself "the world's first AI streamer." On September 7, at midnight, he announced on X that when he was offline, an AI version powered by GPT-6 Astra and Higgsfield.ai would take over. In a preview video, the AI-generated N3on appeared in a barbershop, a movie premiere, a market, and a Shanghai dance party, while the chat room could decide the next scene. He wrote on X: "This is my last stream as a human being. I'll explain when it's over. First AI streamer in the world and it's me. This stream will never end. Going to bed now. Don't make me do anything that can jail me. Powered by GPT-6 Astra and @higgsfield.ai live on Kick." He claimed to be the "first AI streamer," but the claim was quickly fact-checked by community notes, which pointed out he was not the first.
Stream Lasts Only Five Hours as Viewers Criticize 'AI Slop', N3on Backtracks
However, when the stream went live, instead of a technological marvel, viewers saw an "AI slop" — a show filled with low-quality AI content. Many viewers directly criticized him for betraying the spirit of livestreaming. Facing backlash, N3on backtracked a few hours later, calling the stream a one-time experiment and emphasizing that he would still stream as himself daily. The AI livestream lasted only about five hours. He also denied that it was AI, despite earlier explicitly stating it was an AI version.
