INSOMNIAC said Streamis, the account management provider for the Based crypto card business, suffered unauthorized access that exposed cardholder information. According to the notice, an unauthorized person accessed Streamis’ internal tool used to manage card accounts between Oct. 3 and Oct. 5. The company said customer deposits remain safe, no funds were moved out of customer cards or accounts, and the cards can still be used normally. The accessed data included full names, dates of birth, registered phone numbers, nationality, residential addresses, passport numbers, registered email addresses, Based wallet addresses, and Based customer IDs. The incident concerns personal and account-linked data rather than a reported loss of customer funds.
