Strike has introduced a Stacks Bitcoin savings bucket system, according to a post by Bitcoin News on X. The feature lets users split holdings into as many as five custom-named buckets, giving them a way to organize funds inside the app. Each bucket also supports recurring purchases with no fees.
The post said transfers between Stacks and a user’s main balance carry no fees and are not capped by frequency. Withdrawals, however, require users to move funds back to the main balance first.
Strike also added 3.6% interest on U.S. dollar cash balances the same day. That interest is paid in Bitcoin rather than dollars. The assets tied to the feature remain held in Strike’s multisignature cold storage, based on the information shared in the update.
