Funding came mainly from stock sales

Strive said the latest Bitcoin purchases were financed mainly through stock sales rather than debt financing. During the period, the number of ASST common shares rose from about 79.9 million to 83.5 million, while the number of SATA preferred shares also increased. The two programs were expected to raise about $154.6 million, with around $143 million directed to Bitcoin purchases.

SATA currently offers a 13% annualized dividend, paid on each business day.

Company says debt has been repaid

Strive said it has repaid its outstanding debt, currently has no margin requirements, and has not pledged its Bitcoin as collateral.

After buying nearly 3,000 BTC in August, ASST shares rose more than 5% on Monday and were up nearly 100% for the month. The company’s stock-funded Bitcoin strategy may dilute existing shareholders, while a decline in Bitcoin’s price could also create risk.
