According to ChainCatcher, Taiko said in a post on X that it has confirmed an intrusion involving Taiko’s chain state validation mechanism. As a result, the project stated that the security assumptions for all cross-chain bridges deployed on Taiko are no longer reliable.

Users Urged to Withdraw From Taiko Bridges

Taiko said it is coordinating with its security council and ecosystem partners to contain the situation, pause affected systems, and take technical and legal action. The team strongly advised all users to immediately withdraw funds from every cross-chain bridge deployed on Taiko.

Taiko also issued an urgent request for all centralized exchanges to suspend TAIKO token deposits until they receive an official notice. The attacker address has been published. Earlier reports said the Taiko ERC20 Vault had been attacked, with losses exceeding $1 million.
