Thailand’s government officially rolled out the TH-AI Passport, a national AI platform, on August 31, giving free access to advanced AI models to all citizens aged 15 and above. The target is at least 5 million people, according to Max For AI. Pre-registration began less than two weeks ago and has already pulled in more than 1.3 million applicants. Strong demand. Pretty obvious.
The platform now brings together 33 models from 15 vendors, including GPT-5.6 Sol, Claude Opus 5, Gemini 3.1 Pro, Grok 4.3, DeepSeek-V3.2, Kimi K2.7, and GLM-5.2 for language tasks. It also includes Veo, Seedance, Nano Banana, and GPT Image for image and video generation. So yes, it spans most major AI capabilities.
TH-AI Passport uses a distinct 'learn-to-earn' credit system. Users finish courses and tasks from organizations such as OpenAI, Microsoft, and Google to build up 100 points, which moves them to Creator level. And at that tier, they get 10,000 daily credits—enough for 20 to 50 chat, coding, or reasoning sessions—along with image, video, music generation, and Deep Research features.
Max For AI called the project 'potentially one of the largest national AI literacy experiments ever conducted,' citing its scale and free-access model.
