Institutional crypto services provider The Tie has launched a wholly owned subsidiary, The Tie Capital, according to an announcement from co-founder and CEO Joshua Frank. The new entity is a broker-dealer registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and a member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, or FINRA. The Tie Capital will provide investment banking and capital markets advisory services to crypto protocols, on-chain businesses, and digital asset service providers. Its scope includes private fundraising, buy-side and sell-side M&A, protocol restructurings, token generation events, token-to-equity transactions, and other special-situations deals. The business will be led by Managing Director Boomer Saraga.
