THORChain has launched the public beta of a native cross-chain swap interface that it describes as the protocol’s primary front end. The product is built for DeFi users who want to trade native crypto assets across blockchains directly, without relying on wrapped tokens, bridges, or centralized exchanges.
The team said the new interface is meant to give the community a dedicated home base centered on THORChain. It is designed for both new users and experienced traders seeking trustless cross-chain swaps. In the current release, users can swap BTC, ETH, XRP, BNB, TRX, DOGE, BCH, LTC, AVAX, and ATOM with any self-custody wallet, and they do not need to connect that wallet to the website in order to place a swap.
Direct native swaps across major blockchain networks
The interface is built around direct trading between chains including Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Tron, Dogecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Avalanche, and Cosmos. THORChain presents this as native cross-chain trading, meaning users can move between supported assets without going through wrapped versions or external bridge infrastructure.
According to the announcement, the platform also emphasizes transparency and a cleaner user experience. The interface is intended to reduce friction, while giving the development team control over routing logic and the overall flow of the product. THORChain said this structure is meant to direct transaction volume to the protocol itself.
Beta testing starts now, full launch targeted for Q1 2026
The current release is an early public beta, with THORChain inviting users to test the product and send feedback before the official launch planned for Q1 2026. The team said the platform will continue to be developed ahead of that date.
Planned upgrades include support for thousands of additional tokens across multiple chains, a refined interface with better onboarding and improved routing visibility, and integration of more THORChain features such as bonding and liquidity providing. The beta version is live now at swap.thorchain.org and can be accessed through a standard web browser.
