THORChain said on Oct. 2 that its ZEC liquidity pool is now live, marking a new step in its rollout of native Zcash support. The network has also completed a node churn, with all nodes now monitoring the Zcash chain. According to THORChain, trading functionality is the next item on the roadmap, though it cautioned that liquidity remains shallow for now and early users should watch for slippage risk. The update follows earlier protocol work to add native Zcash support, including UTXO handling, RPC logic, and a ZEC price oracle. THORChain said mainnet integration efforts are still ongoing.

Trading functionality is next, according to THORChain. For now, liquidity remains shallow, and early trading may carry slippage risk.

Earlier, THORChain added native Zcash support through a protocol upgrade, including UTXO handling, RPC logic, and a ZEC price oracle. Mainnet integration is still in progress.
