BitMine chairman Tom Lee shared a list of 17 large-cap stocks with relatively high correlation to cryptocurrencies, aimed at investors seeking crypto exposure through equities. The group covers companies with market capitalizations above $2 billion. In Lee’s list, BMNR, or BitMine, showed the highest correlation with ETH at 80%, followed by COIN, or Coinbase, at 74%. On the Bitcoin side, MSTR, or Strategy, ranked highest with a 78% correlation, with COIN again at 74%. Lee also said he expects ETH to outperform BTC in the current cycle. He attributed that view to tokenization and AI applications, arguing that this thesis matters more than the factors that drove earlier periods of ETH outperformance.
