Crypto trader Killa said on X that Bitcoin failed once again to break above $87,000, leading him to close a previously opened 10x long at breakeven. That position had been built on the expectation that a second test of the highs would result in a breakout, but price instead moved back to his entry level after the move failed. Killa said he is now watching the $80,000 to $82,000 range and would consider rebuilding a 10x long there. At the same time, he noted that he is still holding existing BTC long positions from $62,600 and $76,400, which is why he sees no reason to rush into a new entry right now. Despite the failed breakout, Killa said he remains bullish and expects Bitcoin to move higher. He described the current market as low-timeframe consolidation, while adding that his own focus is on higher-timeframe trading. He also stressed the importance of risk management in the current setup.
