According to TradingBeats, trader Loracle’s linked accounts have seen a sharp rebound in PNL over the past seven days, with cumulative improvement of more than $11.62 million.
Across all eight associated accounts, and after offsetting long and short futures positions, Loracle’s major net positions include:
- A long gold position of about $41.156 million, the trader’s largest single directional exposure;
- Short storage names, including about $24.709 million in SanDisk and about $9.634 million in Micron;
- Short AI-related technology stocks, including about $17.998 million in NVIDIA, about $3.948 million in Palantir, about $3.879 million in Oracle and about $1.585 million in CoreWeave;
- Short crypto assets, including about $15.195 million in HYPE, about $14.011 million in PONS and about $5.342 million in CASHCAT.
Most of the improvement came from two accounts
TradingBeats said the seven-day profit recovery was heavily concentrated in two addresses. Address 0xefe4 generated about $9.807 million in profit, while address 0x8def posted net profit of about $920,000. That figure for 0x8def included gains from a HYPE short position, but was weighed down by spot HYPE sales made during the same period. The remaining accounts had limited impact.
Pullbacks in storage names and NVIDIA helped older shorts recover losses
As storage stocks and NVIDIA retreated, older short positions first recaptured earlier losses. Over the past seven days, SNDK fell from $1,808.2 to $1,564.2, corresponding to about $3.727 million in gains. NVDA declined from $233.04 to $212.18, corresponding to about $1.773 million in gains. MU dropped from $1,054.6 to $932.84, corresponding to about $1.275 million in gains.
Loracle’s MU short, sized at about $9.7 million, is still showing an unrealized loss of about $651,000. The SNDK short, worth about $24.7 million, is still carrying an unrealized loss of about $1.244 million. The NVDA short, worth about $18 million, has swung back into profit, now showing gains of about $1.149 million.
PONS and CASHCAT shorts turned positive
Existing short positions in PONS and CASHCAT together moved from loss to profit by about $3.071 million.
